Who said camping is fun???

Okay... I love to camp. I think it is because I have great memories as a child camping. We used to go to Bear flats in AZ all the time. We would spend hours playing capture the flag, collecting berries, picking apples, and playing card games. I especially remember that we had an old cloth tent and it rained once and we didn't have a trench dug or a tarp under our tent....let's just say it got soaked. Those were great memories! So rightfully so I want to share those memories and experiences with my kids....well...maybe when they are older. :) We went to Mt. Charleston for the night and it WAS fun...kinda. We made the normal tin foil dinners. Mason got to pee on a tree.....you know you just can't beat that! We went to bed and it was really loud with all the cars honking and people yelling but luckily the kids slept through it. When we went to bed I had a bottle ready for Isaac so if he woke up he wouldn't scream to long....haha! Well, Bentley woke up and started a screaming match between the two babies and I tried to soothe Isaac. Every time one baby stopped one would start again. Also, Isaac was getting really mad because he wouldn't drink a cold bottle.....it was freezing. By this time Mason started to wake-up and tried to SSHHH Bentley and Isaac. FUNNY! Then he asked if it was time to play. So we decided to go and leave our stuff. LUCKILY it is only about 40 min. from our house so we got 4 hours of sleep (in our own beds) and went back up the mountain. We ate breakfast and sat around while everyone else decided to leave early....due to cranky kids. We were just going to enjoy the great outdoors until some guy noticed we were leaving and started to sit in our site and interrupt our conversation. He wanted our spot and wanted us to leave. It was soooo rude. We headed down the hill and showered up and all took like three hour naps! I LOVE MY BED!!!! And you ask...will I go camping again......HECK YEAH! Only if it is 30 minutes from my bed.:)
