ALL STAR!

I am so excited that I can NOT wait for pics!!!! I received an e-mail from Mason's teacher yesterday and he had been nominated for "Dr. Alva's All Stars." It is a program that awards kids who show character or excel academically. His teacher stated that she nominated him because of his academic performance and his character in controlling his anger and being a good friend!!!! I love that my kid is a good friend! I try to tell him everyday to be really sweet and nice to a girl that has a lot of trouble in class. She often spits, hits and bites the kids in class. I think it is important that he shows her compassion even though she might not show it in return. I am so proud of Mason for excelling in school. This was the first time she nominated a student and it happened to be MASON! We get to go to an assembly where the teacher and Principal hand out the awards.....yes...I am gonna cry. I never got this award when I was in school...mostly because I was a really talkative kid that none of my teachers cared for that. :) BUT Mason's teacher is so sweet and sees the kid he is and recognizes that. Mason your mama is soooo proud! (and Dad too) :)
