Memorial Weekend

We spent Memorial weekend with my family up in Pinetop. We had a blast just hanging out. The first day we were their we got together with Cam and Afton and ate pizza. Afton being the sweet heart that she is volunteered to take Mason to Kung Fu Panda 2. After the movie we met up at the park and let the kids go crazy...okay my kids. :) Sat. we went out to Greens Peek to go 4-wheeling and eat lunch. The area was sooo dry and we were really worried about this fire season. Sadly a few days later the worst fire in the state broke out and is still burning. Even though my kids were covered in dirt ALL weekend we had fun. We love going up in the cooler weather and enjoying other aspects of God's beauty.

So many things wrong with this picture....let's just say Don't drink and drive boys.

Toria and Isaac...they love each other!

We hang out in the garage most the time playing with all the fun games!

My sister is holding a bucket that her son Johnathan put together for the horny toad he caught. Which reminds me of a sweet story. Heather needed to let it go before they left and Johnathan had a REALLY hard time with it. He was crying and no one could calm him down. Mason was in another room playing with his dads IPad and he came out when he heard him crying. He went over to Johnathan and gave him the IPad and said, "here Johnathan...don't cry, you can play with this." It was the perfect distraction and Mason let him play with it. I am so grateful that he was thoughtful of others feelings and wanted to make them happy. If you know Mason he wears his heart on his sleeve and is very sensitive to others feelings, not always, but most of the time.
