Air show at Nellis

We had a fun time at the Nellis Air show yesterday. Jared volunteered at a pediatric clinic that morning and i thought it would be a waste of time to drive out there and wait out the crowds. I REALLY get stressed with crowds....I think it is all the drivers. ANYWAYS, the shuttle you on a bus from the Nascar stadium to the base. I think that was one of the highlights of Masons day. Since it started at 10 am and we left around 12 I figured we would see like 10 minutes of planes....but I determined the pure joy on Masons face for that long was good enough! We actually got to see about an hour of flying AND most of that time was watching the THUNDERBIRDS!!!! It was SOOOO amazing. It made me want to get in the plane and go flying...how fun would that be? They did all these really cool moves and flew SO close to each other. At one point a plane came from behind us...really close and scared the CRAP out of Mason, Isaac didn't even blink. We had a fun time and the travel back wasn't that bad. SO...even though I HATE crowds and it still makes me stress.....it was worth seeing Mason get so excited and appreciate it.....I think I even liked it. :)

Can you say DANG cute? To bad he wouldn't keep them on!

Mason was really excited to put the ear protection on!

It looked so cute with the boys flying their flags in the air! It makes you so proud of the military that keeps this country safe!

Perfect timing????

Thunderbirds!!!!

It was a really windy day and I could barely hold myself up. I was actually thinking they would cancel the show because the wind was so strong. If you look at masons hair you can see it standing straight up because the wind was pushing against us so hard! Thankfully Jared is strong and he carried the weight of Isaac, the stroller and pulled Mason. It was like walking against a brick wall that would NOT move.
